La mode à petits prix, mais pas à tout prix.

Affordable fashion, but not at any cost

KIABI was born in 1978 from a bold idea: to make fashion truly accessible for every style, every body, and every budget. Nearly 50 years later, this vision remains unchanged. We continue to offer affordable prices. Yes to affordable fashion, but always while maintaining quality and considering our impact on the planet and the people we work with. Our ambition is to do even more for families, supporting them in new lifestyles, new ways of consuming, and new relationships with fashion. It’s not always easy to find the right balance, but we work on it every single day!

Our approach

To make this a reality, we must rethink how we create and distribute our clothing. Not everything is perfect today, but we strive for continuous improvement. KIABI ACTS FOR A BETTER WORLD is our initiative to share the ways in which all our teams are making progress.

PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION

We aim to improve how our products are created and to reduce our environmental impact. We act where the impact is greatest: in the selection of raw materials and during the production phase. We use recycled or organic fibers whenever possible, develop dye-free collections to save water and reduce pollution, and encourage our suppliers to use renewable energy. One product, more life.

One product, many lives

One product, many lives

Durability starts at the design phase: we use technologies like Tough Cotton™ to make fibers more resilient, create collections with timeless cuts and colors, and include practical details like adjustable sleeves and trousers that adapt as children grow. Through Beebs by Kiabi, you can give a second life to your wardrobe or find pre-loved treasures.

Collaboration is the key

Collaboration is the key

We believe in building long-term relationships with our partners, teams, customers, and families by listening to their needs. For example, our “So Easy” collection, designed for easy dressing, was developed together with those who need it most.

Living together

Living together

We support families at every stage of life with inclusive collections tailored for plus sizes, maternity, specific disabilities, or temporary loss of autonomy. OurPetit Magasinconcept also helps people return to work and provides brand-new clothing to families in need. Living better together also means empowering young people through initiatives supported by the Kiabi Foundation.

Where is Kiabi clothing produced?

Our clothing is produced by partners in several countries, primarily in Asia and the Middle East, where we seek specific skills and expertise. We work, for example, with Indian partners renowned for high-quality cotton knitwear and creativity, or with Chinese suppliers who specialize in outerwear. Some products are also manufactured in Turkey for greater flexibility.

Which materials are more environmentally friendly?

All textile production has an environmental impact, but some materials help reduce it. These include: organic natural fibers such as organic cotton, linen, and hemp; recycled fibers (recycled polyester and cotton); as well as innovative alternatives like TENCEL™ Modal or TENCEL™ Lyocell.

To guarantee quality and traceability, we rely on certifications such as:

  • GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and OCS (Organic Content Standard) to limit the use of pesticides and water;
  • GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and RCS (Recycled Claim Standard)

What certifications do you use to prevent chemical risks?

For maximum safety against chemical risks, Kiabi relies on the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification. In 2024, 68% of our total product range was certified, including over 88% of baby products and over 99% of baby underwear.
